During the first two weeks of this month, the Regional Task Force and The GEPCO Surveillance teams seized 307 electrical thieves and filed a fine of over Rs 18 lakh, all of which were filed for the FIRC registration. GEPCO Surveillance teams from City Circle53, Cantt Circle 60, Gujarat Circle75, Sialkot Circle 80, Narowal Circle 39 from the region overall But the thieves stole electricity from various tactics and caught the over Rs 18 lakh in the period of 6,95,000 units.  The house is located in the heart of the city. Chief Executive Mohsin Raza khan has said that the operation will continue until the end of the power theft scandal from GEPCO . They appealed to the public to report the theft of electricity to the immediate GEPCO helpline 118.
