More News about HAZECO The Prime Minister of Pakistan has approved the establishment of Hazara Electric Supply Company. The purpose of establishing Hazara Electric Supply Company is to improve the supply of electricity in the areas under the control of Peshawar Electric Supply Company, reduce line losses and provide convenience to consumers. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Peshawar Electric Supply Company has been divided into two parts, out of which one part has been made into a separate company. PESCO will manage 6 circles, including Peshawar, Khyber, Swat, Bannu, Mardan and Swabi while Hazara Electric Supply Company will consist of 2 circles including Hazara 1 and Hazara 2 and its headquarters will be in Abbottabad.
