Billions of rupees were stolen from LESCO's transmission and distribution system. On the basis of power theft, LESCO came second with 12.4 percent line losses. According to media reports, billions of rupees were stolen from LESCO's transmission and distribution system. Electricity theft has been revealed. Within a year, 21,384 million units disappeared from the company's system, leaving LESCO with an annual loss of billions of rupees due to power theft. In Punjab, LESCO was ranked second in terms of power theft rate. The line loss rate in LESCO was recorded at 12.40. The Lahore Electric Supply Company received 387,000 million units of electricity from the National Grid Station and in case of billing. In the power sector, line losses of FESCO and GEPCO were recorded at less than 10% while the highest rate of power theft was reported in MEPCO.
