Federal Government Considering To Increase Pensions of Retired Government Employees
The federal government is considering increasing the pensions of retired government employees
The federal government has started considering increasing the pensions of retired government employees after increasing the salaries of government employees. However, this increase will not be immediately applicable to EOBI pensioners as there is a separate procedure for increasing their pensions. The minimum pension can be increased by 10% and EOBI pensioners will be asked to wait till July. The federal government will also urge the provinces to increase the salaries of employees and pensions of retired government employees.
