IESCO Board of Directors Approves Installation of Smart Meters In the first phase, more than 800,000 smart meters were installed in Pindi Circles. Following the approval of ECNEC, ADB Ministry of Energy, the IESCO Board of Directors approved the installation of smart meters. The first phase of installation will be completed in 3 and a half years. IESCO teams are working on a priority basis to complete the project. Completion of the project will significantly reduce the complaints of consumers regarding electricity and ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
