LESCO's Meter Readers Went on Strike for Policy about HHU Mobile Reading Snap Allowance

Meter readers of Lahore Electricity Distribution Company (LESCO) have gone on strike, which could lead to delays in meter reading and issuance of electricity bills this month, according to LESCO officials. According to a circular, LESCO officials have instructed all meter readers to read the meters of electricity consumers with 100% photographs aimed at eliminating over-billing complaints from electricity consumers. Meter readers have stopped work on the said circular expressing their reservations and demanding the withdrawal of the circular.
